Honouring Women Month

The Department of Counselling Services’ Family Resource Centre (FRC) celebrates the achievements of women and calls for greater equality, in its annual observance of Honouring Women Month throughout the month of March.

• Baby Bonding Therapeutic Art takes place on Wednesday the 29th of March at the National Gallery at 10am Interested persons can register at https://forms.gle/EEGFjbXXohwhopMG7

• Empower Yourself Self-Defense Session takes place at CrossFit Cayman (Camana Bay) on Sunday the 4th of March at 11am. Interested persons can send an email to wellness@gov.ky
• Candle making workshop takes place at the Goodness Studio on the 4th and 5th of March. Contact goodnessky.com for registration
• Women in Music Bingo Night takes place at Salty's on Thursday the 9th of March at 7pm, no registration is required (walk-ins are welcome)

International Women's Day Breakfast will take place on Friday the 10th of March 2023, at 8:30 am at the Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa. Interested persons can email IWD@gov.ky to purchase a seat or table. The ticket purchase is $50 CI each.

• Soca Fitness Session takes place on Sunday the 12th of March at the Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa-Beach Deck at 8am. This session is facilitated by the School of Fitness. • Setting the Stage for Equity Workshop takes place at THE LOFT on Monday the 13th of March from 1:30pm-3:30pm https://forms.gle/yaqpVj2zkmEeogqo7

• Ride for Equity Vital Studio takes place on Sunday the 19th of March at 12:30pm. Interested persons can contact Vital Studio at 333-4825.

• All women within the Cayman Islands are invited to participate in Flourish Women’s Spiritual Fellowship, being held at the Marriott Beach Resort at 7:30 PM. No registration is required.
• Registration is now closed due to reaching the maximum capacity. STEM Girls Camp is back and will be held 9 am-3 pm at 345Robotics, located by Elizabethan Square. It is an interactive camp where there will be fun coding and robotics activities and moments of inspiration from successful women in the STEM Field. Snacks and lunch will be provided. There is a $15 registration fee. 

• The Colour Me Purple 5K fun walk/run 2023 takes place on Sunday the 26th of March at 6:30am at Seven Mile Beach (Registration fee is $30) Form registrations can be sent to frc@gov.ky
